Charlotte Design Build Profiles:

Mike meets with the prospective client, ascertains their needs and budget, and produces the design and proposal for construction for the projects. He helps clients through the selections and coordinates all aspects of the design.

He has over 30 years of experience in the residential design and remodeling field. He has much experience in green design and construction, dating back to the late seventies.

Mike has a Bachelors Degree from N.C. State University, and a Masters Degree in Architecture from N.C. State. He is certified AutoCadd operator and is continuing education in Green Building Technologies.

Mike has two children, one married and expecting child, and one finishing up at N.C State University in Engineering. He enjoys camping, playing guitar, and driving BMW's.

Ken handles the financial operations of the company, assures our compliance with licensing and insurance requirements, and is in charge of materials procurement for all the projects. With over 15 years of experience in the residential design, construction, and remodeling field, Ken has acquired a great deal of experience in construction technologies and implementation.

Ken grew up in Brazil as son of missionary parents, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from William Jennings Bryan College. He enjoys camping and spending time with his seven children. He has an interest in medicine and obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (sounded like a good idea with seven children and camping!)

Ken also has a passion for aviation. He obtained his private pilot's license in 1993, and enjoys building and flying homebuilt aircraft.

Ken is a licensed General Contractor in the state of North Carolina.

Corey coordinates all aspects of the production of every project. Corey has vast experience in construction of residential projects with a wide variety of scopes and complexities. He manages all of Charlotte Design-Builds' projects and makes sure the product exceeds expectations.

He has over 15 years of experience in the residential construction and remodeling field. Corey holds a B.S. in Business Finance from Long Island University in New York.

Corey has two young boys, and enjoys spending time with the family, church activities.
